Day-wise Itinerary

Day 1
Arrival in Manali (2,050m)

Arrive in Manali and check into hotel. Attend evening briefing session with expedition leader covering route, safety, and equipment. Rest and prepare for the expedition ahead.

Day 2
Manali to Jagatsukh to Chikka Camp (3,100m)

Drive to Jagatsukh village. Begin trek through forests and meadows to reach Chikka Camp. Set up base and acclimatize. Trek: 6-7 hours.

Day 3
Chikka to Seri Camp (3,800m)

Trek through beautiful alpine meadows and streams to Seri Camp. Gain altitude gradually for proper acclimatization. Trek: 5-6 hours.

Day 4
Seri to Tainta Camp (4,200m)

Continue ascending towards Tainta Camp. The landscape becomes more rugged with stunning mountain views. Trek: 4-5 hours.

Day 5
Tainta to Mini Chandratal Lake to Base Camp (4,500m)

Trek past the beautiful Mini Chandratal Lake to reach Deo Tibba Base Camp. Spectacular views of surrounding peaks. Trek: 5-6 hours.

Day 6
Acclimatization and Training Day

Important rest day for acclimatization. Mountaineering training on rope work, ice climbing techniques, crampon use, and safety procedures. Essential for summit success.

Day 7
Load Ferry to Camp 1 (5,200m) and Return

Carry loads to Camp 1 and return to Base Camp. This helps with acclimatization and prepares the high camp. Trek: 6-7 hours round trip.

Day 8
Move to Camp 1 (5,200m)

Move permanently to Camp 1. Rest and prepare for summit attempt. Check all equipment. Early dinner and sleep. Trek: 4-5 hours.

Day 9
Summit Attempt of Deo Tibba (6,001m) and Return to Camp 1

Start pre-dawn (2-3 AM) for summit. Technical climb using ropes and ice axes. Reach Deo Tibba summit at 6,001m. Descend to Camp 1. Total: 12-14 hours.

Day 10
Camp 1 to Base Camp

Descend from Camp 1 back to Base Camp. Celebrate the successful summit. Rest and recovery. Trek: 3-4 hours.

Base Camp to Chikka to Manali

Long descent day back to Chikka, then drive to Manali. Check into hotel. Hot shower and celebration dinner. Trek: 7-8 hours.

Departure from Manali
